2002 Howell Mountain Selection
Cabernet Sauvignon

Current Tasting Notes

This classic Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon opens up with herb characters, Asian spices, dark cherry, toasty vanilla and a slight minerality on the nose. Hazelnut, currants, chocolate and coffee are evident on the palate. Somewhere in the air, there is a scent of a carpeted forest floor, conjuring up the image of an early morning hike through the vineyards, crunching across the pine needles and leaves that mingle marvelously with the soils at harvest time.
