2013 W.S. Keyes Vineyard Merlot

Our March release features two stunning wines from one near-perfect vintage: 2013. The warm, dry conditions throughout allowed for ideal maturation and flavor concentration. Sourced from the oldest and most prized block of the W.S. Keyes Vineyard, the 2013 W.S. Keyes Merlot was aged for 19 months in 100% new French oak. Comprised of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine offers anise, blackberry, gravelly minerality, and an overall mouth-filling expression of mountain Merlot. With 10 years of age, our 2013 W.S. Keyes Merlot is ready to drink now or can be cellared for another 5 - 10 years for additional flavor development.
